Abstract :
The reference which designates the Signal of Interest (SOI) in an adaptive antenna system (whether emitter direction or signal recognition) must do so with sufficient accuracy to prevent designation of a portion of the SOI as unwanted. This would result in suppression of the SOI with the same efficacy as a jammer.
