Abstract
In this paper the author shows the reversibility of power flow in the magnetic frequency tripler that consists of a star-series connection of three single-phase transformers, and shows that the tripler can operate as a single-phase to 3-phase power converter. Some unique characteristics of this single-phase to 3- phase converter are also shown both theoretically and experimentally.
