Abstract :
This work presents the design and implementation of a general purpose low cost drive circuit for insulated gate electronic power devices such as MOSFET and IGBT. The proposed drive circuit implementation is explained in detail and the results and waveforms obtained when the drive circuit is used in a chopper circuit with IGBT are presented.
