  • Abstract
A novel high-frequency processing technology has been developed for automated fabrication of high quality carbon-fiber-reinforced plastics. The development has been assisted by extensive numerical simulations. The use of microwaves shows new approaches for the process interaction for the fiber materials, precursors, resin systems, and layup preparation. Prepreg and injection technologies are completely supported and optimized.
