Abstract :
In this paper, a variable structure control algorithm is combined with an indirect field-oriented control strategy in order to control the position of an induction machine shaft submitted to large variations of mechanical configuration. The tracking capabilities and the robustness of the approach are tested experimentally using a low-cost DSP.
