  • Abstract
    A rectangle has two mirror-symmetry axes and a twofold rotational symmetry center. The symmetry leads us to some properties of electric current fields: the resistance R1between two electrodes attached to the special part of a rectangle and the reciprocal resistance R2of R1makes the relation R1R2= 2, etc.
