Abstract :
The interconnection of a complementary rail-supply-insensitive PTAT current source and a lightly saturated transistor facilitates the design of a low-current source of predictable strength using a monolithic bipolar technology. The technique can deliver an output current of a few microamperes with a total circuit resistance of 1 k¿.
