  • Abstract
    A new type of infra-red device based on n-type cadmium mercury telluride is described which performs both the detection function and the time delay integration function in serial or serial-parallel scan thermal imaging systems. It is a simple device which considerably reduces system complexity in either the 8¿14 ¿m or 3¿5 ¿m wavebands.
