Abstract
The crosspolar properties of dielectric and corrugated feeds are compared, subject to approximations which are valid for narrow flare angles and large apertures. Whereas the cross-polar radiation from a corrugated feed has a resonant frequency dependence, that for a dielectric feed is only weakly dependent upon frequency.
