  • Abstract
    Data are presented for a three year Ku-band propagation experiment in Surabaya, Indonesia. This measurement campaign was executed by the Eindhoven University of Technology and the Institute of Technology Sepuluh Nopember. Because the measurements were carried out with a beacon receiver and a radiometer simultaneously it was possible to derive the medium temperature. In addition, the measured results are compared with predictions using the 1991 Rec. 618 procedure of the RS (formerly the CCIR).
