Abstract :
A property of the normalization constants for closed single-class product-form queueing networks is derived under the condition that the service rate at each service center is not decreasing with the increase of the number of jobs staying at the center. The result implies that the throughput at each service center is monotonically increasing with the increase of the total number of jobs contained in the queueing network considered.
