Abstract :
A simple iterative procedure to account for higher order mode coupling between adjacent coupling slots of a planar slot array is presented. The method converges rapidly and is easy to implement in conjunction with Elliott´s design technique for planar arrays. The procedure is illustrated with an example and validated by a full-wave moment method analysis.
