Abstract :
General periods of meteorological conditions which lead to multipath effects on line of sight links can also be those during which anomalous transhorizon propagation is present. An empirical method for predicting the probability of outage due to the resulting interference is described, which is based on the prediction models for the individual multipath and transhorizon effects.
