  • Abstract
    We experimentally and numerically investigated the characteristics of the AC losses in Bi2223/Ag sheathed tape by the phase difference between the transport current and external magnetic field perpendicular and parallel to the tape face. The characteristics can be explained by the time evolution of the current density distributions of the cross section of superconducting tape
