Abstract :
The Green´s function formalism is used to obtain new theoretical results which establish a simple and quantitative relationship between the spatial dependence of solar cell parameters in the dark and under illumination. It is shown, in particular, that the minority-carrier collection efficiency is equal to a suitably normalized excess minority carrier concentration in the dark
