Abstract :
This letter considers power control for the V- BLAST system with successive interference cancellation (SIC) receiver. In addition to a conventional sum-power constraint across the transmit antennas, this letter adopts a per-antenna power constraint, which is more realistic in practice. Average uncoded BER of all detection stages is minimized under the given constraints. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the effect of the additional per-antenna power constraint.
