Abstract
Success of a phase unwrapping algorithm for radar interferometry depends on availability of a good quality map. Many quality map extraction algorithms are available, and most methods use a fixed window around each pixel. When there are noise corrupted pixels, the fixed window sometimes yield poor results, and so a weighted window is proposed for use for quality map extraction.
