Abstract :
Microstrip parameters in layered dielectric media are empirically investigated with the intention to maximise dispersion. Experimental results show that dispersion increases appreciably over wide frequency bands when using this structure. Physical parameters which increase dispersion are the thickness of the dielectric layers, the ratio of the maximum and the minimum dielectric constants and the maximum dielectric constant of the material used.
