Abstract
Equations for the field components of a thin film head were given in a previous paper. Those equations were based on measurements taken on a large-scale model of a thin film head. In this paper, the equations are used to calculate isolated pulse output which is compared to measured output from an actual thin film head. The excellent agreement between calculated and experimental results demonstrates the practicality of the equations.
