Abstract
Studies relating to transients in cylindrical transmitting and receiving antennas generally require knowledge of both the steady-state effective length and impedance of these structures over a wide frequency range. A table for the complex radian effective half-length of cylindrical antennas less than 1.3
long, when the incident electric field is polarized parallel to the axis of the conductor, is provided in this paper.
