Abstract :
This paper is a tutorial review of the deconvolution problem. It reviews the definitions of convolution and deconvolution and discusses both the time-domain and frequency-domain methods of performing deconvolution. The paper identifies the true nature of the practical deconvolution problem as an approximation or estimation problem. And, it discusses the concepts of achieving an "acceptable" solution.
