  • Abstract
    The equivalent network approach is described for the analysis of the rectangular dielectric image guide. A network representation is derived by taking the discrete-continuous spectrum coupling at the sides of the waveguide into account. The results by this simple approach agree well with the point-matching results and the experimental results.
