Abstract :
An iterative method is proposed to derive multi-time-scale reduced-order models of synchronous machines. The method is based on the theory of singular perturbation. The results are compared with those obtained using the classical quasi-steady-state (qss) technique. The approach presented improves the accuracy of the reduced-order models.
