Abstract :
The transmission properties of a coplanar waveguide printed on conductor-backed substrates are analysed using the spectral-domain technique. For a fixed substrate thickness, the characteristic impedance and the phase constant may be varied independently by simply adjusting the widths of the centre strip and the slots in the transmission line.
