Abstract :
Asymmetric, (100) blue-shifting quantum wells have been fabricated using δ-doped layers at each well-barrier interface. The photoluminescence peaks depend on the δ-dopant concentration as predicted, and blue shifts of 38 nm have been measured for a factor 20 increase in optical pump power
