Abstract :
An analysis is made of the scattering of radio waves by plasmas in which turbulent variations of free-electron number density occur. Second-order terms for the scattered field are included. An additional term (as compared to the first-order Born approximation) is found in the expression for the scattering cross section, This term is proportional to gama(\\omega _{p}/\\omega )^{2} where gama is a numerical factor determined by the scale of the turbulence.
