Abstract :
Differential equations have been obtained which enable one, with the aid of numerical calculation, to find the magnetic field dependence of the magnetic moment of screening currents in a composite superconductor and then calculate transient losses. Results are presented by calculating the losses upon single field sweeps according to the linear and exponential laws and upon triangular and harmonic periodic signals. The calculation results are in good agreement with experimental data obtained.
