  • Abstract
    AC power losses of monofilamentary and multifilamentary wires, whose filaments have a layered Nb3Al - Nb structure, have been measured. We have investigated the role of the two superconductors present in the wire (Nb3Al and Nb) and the relevance of the reaction,time between Nb and Al, for the superconducting properties of the wire.
