Abstract
Some of the crucial areas of copyright law that will have particular significance to telephone companies in their new multimedia ventures are highlighted. It is argued that in the highly competitive interactive multimedia environment, copyright expertise will be crucial to evaluating opportunities presented to telephone and other communications companies seeking to survive and prosper.<>
