  • Abstract
    We present in the letter the results of a new optimisation technique leading to the determination of optimum pulse shapes used in MSK-type signals. The optimisation is carried out to maximise the ratio of in-band energy to total energy of the transmitted signal spectrum subjected to the constant-envelope constraint.
