Abstract :
A metal-insulator-semiconductor periodic coplanar waveguide is described. The propagation constants and the characteristic impedances of each section are calculated by the spectral-domain method, and overall propagation characteristics are estimated by the theory of periodic structure. The line should be useful for monolithic microwave integrated circuits.
