Abstract :
The SPIB (Signal Processing Information Base) project at Rice University is discussed. This information base will provide the signal processing researcher and the applications engineer with data, programs, and papers that can be accessed immediately through Internet. An overview of the initial contents of the information base is presented, and the various ways in which it may be accessed are described.<>
