Abstract :
A Finite Element package is introduced for two-dimensional plane and axisymmetric electromagnetic field calculations. The efficiency of the software is investigated by several examples. Different program versions are compared to each other by accuracy studies. For nonlinear material properties a direct iteration and the Newton-Raphson method are applied.
