Abstract
The accuracy of present analytical theories of synchronous micromotors is inadequate to fit the requirements of computer aided design programs. It is therefore necessary to look for a two-dimensional model of the interaction through the air gap between the fields produced respectively by the magnet and the excitation coil. The model presented here allows a computation of the electromecanical performance of the machine with an accuracy consistent with C.A.D programs.
