  • Abstract
    The effects of static magnetic properties on recording characteristics of the floppy disk are analyzed. It is found that the average signal amplitude is proportional to the Br of the media, the remaining overwritten signal and modulation are increased and the resolution is decreased as the switching field distribution is broadened, and the modulation is increased when the orientation ratio of the media is increased
