Abstract :
An algorithm and equations are developed for designing reactors for dc-to-dc converters operating in the discontinuous mode for three types of converters regulated by constant on-time and constant off-time feedback controllers. A numerical design example is also given to illustrate the use of the algorithm and the design equations.
