Abstract
Limitations for the operational temperature range of present magnetic bubble memories are reviewed. Methods of varying the temperature dependence of the bias field are described. Particular emphasis is placed on methods that allow its temperature dependence to curve. Modifications of the bias field assemblies permit expansion of the operating temperature range and improvement in yields of present magnetic bubble memories.
