Abstract :
An analytical expression for complex cepstrum of a 2-dimensional second-order (finite) real discrete signal is derived for minimum phase condition in terms of multinomial coefficients and signal values. The theoretical cepstral expression obtained agrees favourably with the actually computed cepsta using a reasonably large size DFT to minimise any effects of aliasing. A few important properties of 2-D cepstrum as an extension of the 1-D case are stated.
