Abstract :
The principles of conversion electron Mössbauer spectroscopy are summarized, and the experimental techniques available are described. The domain of applications of this method, which covers thin film and surface analysis, is surveyed, stressing its potential advantage with respect to conventional Mössbauer absorption.
