Abstract :
Kim, Shin and Kim have proposed an efficient metering scheme (2001) to measure the visits of clients to a Web server. It has been found that the Kim-Shin-Kim metering scheme can suffer from a malicious forgery attack. An improved scheme is proposed to repair the security flaw.
