Abstract :
A closed-form formula is derived for the downlink throughput delivered to a population of users in a cellular TDD/WCDMA system for wireless multirate services. The formula is expressed in terms of system-dependent parameters and a discrete function that reflects the stochastic behaviour of the users´ joint signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR).
