Abstract :
Linear detection of amplitude modulation over a dynamic range of 218 is achieved by an adaptive circuit which selects an appropriate gain. The gain range is available at TTL levels. The circuit is particularly useful for digital data logging applications where fast sampling over a wide dynamic range is required.
