  • Abstract
    The authors consider the development of a general model of the mechanical behavior of ferromagnetic materials, to be used in determining deformations and vibrations of electrical devices. Appropriate expressions for magnetic forces are presented, followed by the numerical results obtained by the corresponding modeling. A method for obtaining experimental data is described. Numerical and experimental results are compared for a simplified Epstein frame
