Abstract
A necessary and sufficient condition is developed for computing the upper bound ∈0 of the parasitic parameter ∈ in a singularly perturbed system, which ensures stability of such a system if 0<∈<∈0. The value of this upper bound obtained by the proposed method is much higher than what can be attained by the methods available in the literature
