Abstract :
A magnetoacoustic electric core-current controlled analog/digital memory, with nondestructive readout, using torqued metallic-glass tape cores, is reported. Memory control is achieved by the magnitude and polarity of a galvanic current through the core. A model for the magnetization is presented.
