Abstract
The comments on electromagnetic potentials are related to such topics as the Lagrangian formulation of electrodynamics, nonuniqueness of the electromagnetic potential in the presence of material interfaces, and experimental measurement of the electromagnetic potentials. In particular, it is explained that divergence-type gauges alone do not guarantee the uniqueness of the electromagnetic potentials in the presence of material interfaces
