Abstract :
A resistive monopole was designed using thin-film evaporation techniques. Measurements of radiation patterns were made over a 100:1 frequency band and compared to the theory of Wu and King. Current amplitude measurements exhibited a more rapid fall-off at the higher frequencies than the almost linear decay observed at the low frequencies.
