Abstract :
Recent techniques that were developed for the synthesis of mode converters in quasi-optical launchers for single-frequency gyrotrons have been applied to the optimization of launchers for multifrequency gyrotrons. Using those techniques, a significant performance enhancement of a multifrequency launcher can be obtained.
