Abstract
The phase-retrieval method for the radio holography of reflector antennas has been tested. The 22 GHz water vapour maser source in Orion was observed to measure the infocus and defocused antenna power patterns. The aperture phase distribution was then derived by the Misell algorithm. An RMS phase error of 0.13 rad was achieved (0.14 mm). The surface resolution was about 1.6 m (between half amplitude points).
