Abstract :
This paper is devoted to the study of the growth conditions for large PbWO4 single crystals with improved scintillation characteristics and radiation resistance. Crystals grown in a medium with a controlled content of oxygen are distinguished by the highest transmission in the region of their own emission and a rapid rate of recovery of the initial optical and luminescent characteristics after irradiation
